Oprah used to have a favorite list....so why the heck should Ms. Milkee Moo Trisk have a list too!!!!
Ok so maybe my post is about the things that simply are my favorite in my life, whether it be Second Life or Real Life...the people, the clothes, the feelings....but I hope you enjoy this!!!
- Love--You can't see love, of course, but it is filling this picture. Love infused my life with grace and happiness and healed a broken, tested heart. Love is One that comes along and sits patiently while you wrestle and fight your way out of the cocoon. Love is the One that encourages and inspires this little butterfly to fly and flutter each day with grace and beauty. Love is finding that place called home to rest when your wings need a break and to enjoy the simple beauty surrounding you.
- Pictures of Loved Ones--The people filling the pictures behind me are the most important individuals. They are the reason that I log into Second Life, the reason I smile, the reason I laugh and sometimes the reason I get angry. They are my family and I am so very blessed that they fill each day and sprinkle my life with pieces of themselves. We have some of the best times creating memories together.
- Music--Music surrounds me everyday, regardless if I am signed into SL or bouncing around in the big bad world of Real Life. A song is always playing and filling the air. Music has the ability to inspire and heal and I have always turned to music at my highest and lowest. I love sharing songs and even love the occasional times I get to DJ in SL. Of course, it is only fitting that I have Butterfly Headphones (from Random Matter but not sold in the store anymore) in pink and black and of course all the other colors in my inventory too. I also love blasting BRM Radio (check it out here.... BRM Radio Website ) daily because well, I happen to love the amazing talent that is shared on BRM Radio and am proud to be apart of this adventure.
- Encouragement--Whether it be advice given or received from a loved one or the simple reminder from a picture (Dream picture by PewPew!), the world could stand to have more of it. So my challenge for 2017 is to spread more encouragement....to be more positive, to spread hope, to light the world up with happiness. Dream Big....Know You are Beautiful....Shine Bright....Set the World on Fire.
- Comfort--I love to find cozy things to snuggle with. I always have a blanket near by to toss over my lap and as I write this...my favorite sock monkey blanket is the blanket of choice tonight. In SL, the +Half-Deer+ Messy Pink Polka-dot blanket seems to always find a place in my space in SL. The other is a puppy....puppies are amazing for snuggling and showering you with love. I got another fur niece in RL this year and I swear those two little princesses always make everything seem better. Pets seem to have that same affect in SL. There are so many adorable ones, including the Beagle pup from Jian.
- Me--Okay so maybe that sounds really self centered but hear me out.....I have struggled for so long to be someone I wasn't, been unhappy with who I was as a woman, longed to find peace within myself. Now I'm not completely fixed, but I spend everyday learning how to love me, how to embrace the utterly beautiful, quirky, sassy, feisty, lovable, sweet woman that I am.
I am a butterfly....a girl that has been afraid of breaking out of cocoon only to now flutter in beauty and grace with her beautiful wings. I am Milkee Moo....I have embraced the name given to me and find comfort each day of the journey that I am on. (The Milk Carton is from PewPew and the Cow Rug is from Cheeky Pea)
