Own it....be you!!!

Just try it out...seriously, find what makes you happy and just embrace it.  It is second life and it is our escape.  So if you want to be a dog, a princess, a fairy, a monster, a neko, a married person, a father, a baby, a wizard, a vampire, a designer or even a lil moo cow then you should do it.  Don't be embarrassed or ashamed of what it is that makes you the wonderfully unique person that you are.  

I have always struggled in SL...finding my place, searching for my lil slice of happiness for the absolute longest time after coming in.  Afraid to wear this or that....avoiding wearing a tail or any crazy looking skin.  I've feared wearing a binky in public or embracing my babygirl side at times.  Afraid to be short....heck I've even been afraid to thicken my shape up.  After being in SL for so long, one would think that you wouldn't care after a certain point.   I've been afraid of the backlash, the criticism, the comments but in the past few years that fear has dropped off. 

I can honestly say that more and more, there is a fierce attitude of just not caring what anyone else thinks.  I have rocked the horns and the crazy tails.  I've been a kitty, a bunny, and the cutest lil babygirl.  I've loved every minute of having my binky in my mouth where ever I am.  I have even found comfort in letting my moo spots show proudly.  It is who I am....and there is nothing to be ashamed of.

But there is a flip side to this....if you wanna be you...then you gotta be accepting of others.  Don't rip someone apart or laugh at who they are.  In this world, we need more people lifting each other and more acceptance.  So if someone is popping around a sim looking like a moo cow....let'm.  If someone is brave enough to be themselves, find your own braveness to let them.  The world could be a crazy amazing place if this happened more often than it did.  So be you and let them be them....and don't forget to just embrace the magnificent wonderful beautiful person that is you.

I have been to two different 80s club events in the past week or so and I couldn't resist to just snap a pic because I have been totally reliving my childhood with the awesome music of the 80s.  Of course it was really hard to pic just one song that has been on repeat this week but I went with Tiffany's I Think We're Alone Now because I thought I was the coolest girl listening to that song as a little girl.  Enjoy!!

BullRing Bay

Welcome to BullRing Bay !!!

BullRing Bay , the first satellite site of BRM Radio, provides that tropical getaway where one can just relax or have plenty of fun with friends, but the best part is you get to listen to BRM Radio the entire time.

BullRing Bay sits water-locked among a grouping of beautiful sims.  You can boat, jet ski, fly, or helicopter around the area taking in the amazing views.  There are plenty of docks to pull your boat up to around the Bay.  Check out the clubhouse and lounge by the pool for awhile....it is sure to be relaxing.

Don't forget to explore the other island....there are jet ski rezzers, bumper boats, a diving board and a beach to take in the sunset.  Keep your eye out on BRM Website   for any events that might be happening at BullRing Bay, BRM Radio or around the Grid.  

Being at BullRing Bay has found a love of sailing that I didn't know existed and I can't help but enjoy a sailing adventure.  You can see me sailing in the Mooonetta around the open waters when I have some free time...and yes....the Milkee Moo's boat had to be cow print.  

There are also plenty of other happenings at BRM....like On Deck Sessions with Bully Trisk every Thursday evening from 6-8PM SLT.  Make sure to tune into BRM Radio on the BRM Website to listen to this incredible radio show.  DJ Bully invites a guest DJ each week to spin a specific genre and create a music journey around a particular word.  The guest DJ spins for 30 mins, followed by DJ Bully and then they switch back for the second hour.

On Deck Sessions sometimes explores areas in world.  If you want to join the party, make sure to keep your eye on the website, the BRM Radio Facebook page, or ask me in world for an invite into the BRM ENT group.

Take the Bull by the Horns

I was organizing all the random pictures that I have snapped and I came across so many that I need to edit.  This was one set and it made me smile.

Oddly I remember this afternoon....I was so ecstatic when I saw the release from Enertia.  Fitting that the add on had a texture that read "Take the Bull by the Horns" because I know a certain Bull that happens to be pretty epic in everything He does...including DJ'ing.  I am always searching for a party and good music....I went down this random path because it looked half safe but sadly I did not find the party.  So since the party wasn't that way....I just tuned into BRM Radio  and that saved the day.

Fitting that as I type this, I am actually listening to a recorded set of the one and only DJ Bully on BRM Radio.

Here is a little close up picture of the shirt....I loved all the options of the jacket.  There were 25 jacket and an additional 25 inside textures to choose from, including 25 shirt options or the ability to hide the shirt.  I opted for the Puffy Tee Add On  which had an 25 awesome shirts to choose from.
